COURSE STRUCTURE

Get the most out of your Maschine software and hardware, such as the MK3! In the eight lessons of this course you will learn advanced music producion techniques, improving workflow and how to apply the endless possibilities of Maschine to your music. The Maschine Course consists of three phases. Once you have mastered the basics, the teacher will discuss in detail the possibilities of the software and the instrument for the studio and live. Please note that this course is given as private lessons. This means you can start anytime you want.

STAGE 1 - BASICS OF MASCHINE SOFTWARE & HARDWARE

To really get the most out of Maschine, knowing the software and hardware inside out is vital. How do you make the right drums & loops and which techniques can be used to make those more interesting? How do you optimally apply samples and instruments in your production?

STAGE 2 - ADVANCED TECHNIQUES

After we’ve discoverd the Maschine workflow it’s time to thoroughly explore all the other possibilities within Maschine. How do you make arrangements of your samples and loops, variations with step sequencers and built-in FX? You will discover the many possibilities that Maschine offers for music production and how you can use these techniques to improve your own music.

STAGE 3 - STUDIO INTEGRATION AND LIVE PERFORMANCE

In the final phase of this course, we focus on creating a full track using Maschine and how you can use Maschine in live acts. With this newly acquired knowledge, techniques, and improved workflow, you will be able to translate the strengths of Maschine into your music production method, by making a full track as the final assignment of this course.

Long time DJ and producer Richard in ‘t Veld is known for various styles, symbolizing his experience in producing music. One of his specialties is definitely teaching, which he does at MPA in the Maschine Course. In both his musical journey as in teaching, the development of an own style and thinking in possibilities has always Richard’s trademark. It has releases on various labels and under several artist names. With Near Earth Object being the latest alter ego, Richard also teaches the Full Course and he helps students with private classes in Maschine.

AFTER THE COURSE

PRIVATE COURSE FORMAT

After the Course you will be able to create and perform tracks in Maschine, making the most of your own studio setup and the advanced techniques you have learned.

In order to fit the practical needs of the students regarding Mascine, the Maschine Courses are given in the format of 1-1 private lessons. Discounts on tuition fees are possible if you take these classes together with a friend. Ask us for the conditions!

STUDY LOAD
